(More customer reviews)I bought one of the gold suits to take on spring break last year. Needless to say, these swimsuits turn heads, at least in America where the boxer-cut suits seem restricted to use from people visiting from overseas or old-men who couldn't care less.
I found the suit to be pretty comfortable. As on of the other reviewers noted, the color does fade a little. By fade, parts of the 'shiny metal' exterior has worn off, but this isn't surprising as the spandex material itself is on the inside and the latex part seems to cover the outside. It doesn't simply wash off, but I'm sure friction is the culprit. I wore it last summer and it has lasted pretty well, considering. If you are worried about the colors fading, go with one of the non-metalic suits which my brothers bought which seems to withstand the elements just fine since it doesn't have the latex exterior (but the metalic ones get the most attention).
For those worried about modesty, there is a "pouch" or "pocket" in the front of the suit made of thick cloth that helps to conceal...you. I will probably buy another one for this summer, maybe the silver one.
