The pants actually have a really good swim diaper built in with absorbant padding (not just the mesh lining you get in most baby swim shorts). Bought the 12mo size for my 12mo old son (~23lbs) and it fits perfect with a little room to grow (material is stretchy). The only thing we struggle with is that our son has a very big head (97th percentile) so, like most tops, the mock t-neck isn't the easiest to get on. Wish someone made these tops with a zipper down the back! Otherwise we're super pleased.
